Our leadership consists of ten hard-working members who each have their own position in the organization. Below you will see our story and information about each of us. Get to know us!

Our Story

On November 30th of 2021, a student brought a handgun into Oxford High School and killed four students. Seven others were injured, and thousands were left traumatized and grief-stricken. Several students decided to channel their anger into action by forming a non-profit focused on ending school shootings once and for all. Our team will continue to fight for justice for our community, as well as communities around the state who have experienced similar losses. We cannot change what happened to us, but we can prevent others from experiencing our pain in the future. We are taking action today to ensure a safe future for all Michiganders.

Meet the Team

Dylan Morris

My name is Dylan Morris (he/him). I joined this movement to remind our legislators who work in Lansing, Michigan, and Washington, D.C. that we are not complacent. We need multi-faceted changes now starting with sensible gun reforms and the expansion of mental healthcare access. In my free time, I’m an avid violist and language learner.

Maddie Johnson

My name is Madeline Johnson (she/her). I am 18 years old, and a full time college student studying political science. I joined No Future Without Today after surviving the Oxford High School shooting. My best friend, Madisyn, was killed and I am working hard to gain justice for her and all other victims of gun violence.

Jada Knight

Hi, my name is Jada (she/her) and I am 18 years old. I am the digital director at No Future Without Today. We’ve become numb to this reality of grieving, traumatized children and being terrified every time we go to a public place. I am a part of No Future Without Today because everyone deserves to live in a world free of gun violence, everyone deserves a future.

Reina St. Juliana

My name is Reina St. Juliana (she/her). The reason I joined NFWT is to fight for a safer country by pushing for preventative measures that will save a person from losing a sister - the way I lost Hana.

Olivia McMillan

My name is Olivia McMillan (she/her). I'm 18 years old and I graduated from Oxford High School last year as the class of 2022. I joined No Future Without Today after the Oxford shooting in 2021. I had to go on with my senior year and graduate without one of my best friends Justin Shilling. I want to end this epidemic to ensure no has to lose their loved ones to gun violence.

Sean Wilson

Hi, I’m Sean Wilson (he/him). I’m an 11th grader at Oxford High School. I joined the executive board of NFWT because I believe we must use the voice we’ve unfortunately been given to do anything in our reach that will prevent future gun violence in schools. As an organization, my goal for us is to enact political change including gun control laws like safe storage and magazine capacity limits, as well as mental health reforms.

Brooklyn Ramey

Hi, l'm Brooklyn (she/her)! I'm a junior at Bloomfield Hills High School and I'm deeply committed to making change through gun reform. My primary goal in life is to help people; being in NFWT helps me fulfill this goal and allows me to be a part of a cause that I'm passionate about and that I know will help many people.

Lauren Jasinski

I'm Lauren Jasinski (she/her). I've been a public school educator for ten years and have taught US History, World History, US Civics, and AP Comparative Politics and Government. In November 2022, I ran and was elected to the Royal Oak Schools Board of Education. I am currently the Civics Education Specialist at the Levin Center at Wayne State University.
